I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honours and Great Distinction. In 2016, I completed a Master’s in Physical Therapy at the same institution, where I was recognized as the Most Distinguished Graduate.
Upon graduation, I began working in Orthopaedics and Sport Rehabilitation in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I later completed a Sports Physiotherapy Fellowship with Huskie Athletics at the University of Saskatchewan.
After this fellowship, I served as a full-time therapist for Huskie Athletics at the University of Saskatchewan. Here, I managed injuries and coordinated rehabilitation for the varsity football, track & field, and soccer programs. Before relocating to Lethbridge, I spent a year at the world-renowned Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Centre in London, Ontario, where I had the opportunity to work with a leading sport medicine team.
I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and seek to integrate these principles into my rehab programs. I strongly believe in using assessment and treatment strategies that are best evidence-based practice. After understanding your injury history and situation, my sessions usually focus on education, load/activity management, and progressive exercise prescription.
I enjoy treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries, with a special interest in sports injury management, knees and ACLs, running injuries, concussion and vestibular presentations, and individuals experiencing persistent pain complaints. My ultimate goal is always to get you back to the things you love to do.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy golfing, running, weight lifting, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with my wife Chelsea, a Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge, and our daughter, Emilia.
