Biography

Soccer was my main sport throughout my entire life, and I am currently coaching the Edmonton Scottish United U15 Boys Tier 1 team. My playing career was put on pause due to COVID-19 and an ACL rupture post-lockdown. This injury played a major role in shaping my interest in injury management, strength and conditioning, and athletic performance. My recovery journey also introduced me to The Bridge, where I made deep connections with those who treated me and developed a deeper interest in helping athletes return to sport and reach their performance goals.

This interest led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta, where my focus was on helping athletes reach their potential and gaining a better understanding of what measures are commonly used to record performance at an elite level.

I am passionate about working with young athletes who have big goals for their future. And I enjoy helping athletes better understand how their bodies respond to the physical stresses of sport and using that knowledge to help them train effectively, build confidence, and optimize their performance. I believe developing a strong understanding of movement, strength, and physical preparation can help athletes perform at their best while building a foundation for long-term athletic development.

Outside of the clinic and soccer, I enjoy golfing, camping, hiking, and framing. During the winter, I enjoy snowboarding, spending time with family over the holidays, and, when the weather gets cold enough, thinking about somewhere warmer to travel to.
